Dear Students,
I would like to inform you that we have recently discussed possible solutions for the upcoming academic year among the Rectors of medical universities in Poland. We are also learning to live with the coronavirus. If the epidemiological situation does not deteriorate significantly during the summer holidays, we are planning on starting to open medical schools from September 1st 2020.
The date of September 1st 2020 means only the date of starting the administrative preparations for opening the University for the start of studies on October 1st 2020.
The studies will start on October 1st 2020 as planned in the academic calendar 2020/2021, on condition that the epidemiological situation allows it.Please be informed that for 4th and 5th year MD Advanced classes will start on September 7th 2020 as planned in the academic calendar 2020/2021, on condition that the epidemiological situation allows it.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education recommends education in the hybrid mode. That is why we will not give up on-line teaching and lectures, and some seminars be conducted remotely. We are in the process of preparing directives on the epidemiological aspect of teaching and examinations in a full-time regular mode, based on the recommendations of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate and the update of environmental guidelines announced by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. We will provide more details in the near future. We are waiting for the directives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
